Mission Statement
The mission of Hampton High’s School Counseling Department is to create an equitable and accessible school environment for all students. We advocate through collaboration with all stakeholders to foster positive relationships and remove barriers. Through participation in the comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program, all students--regardless of their race, ethnicity, ability, gender, socio-economic status, or sexual orientation--will develop long-term learning strategies, self-management skills, and grow consistent attitudes and behaviors that will help them to achieve their future goals.
